Beauty Concepts LLC, owned by Cyndie Lunsford, issued a cease and desist letter to Kim Kardashian’s lawyers claiming that they had the rights to the name since July 2017 and provided beauty products through the SKKN+ line. The beauty company also said that their social accounts and website use the same name plus they registered its logo to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in March of this year.

According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian filed to trademark “SKKN BY KIM” and created social media handles with the name in December 2020  but Beauty Concepts has an issue with the usage of “SKKN” and said the name would cause confusion within the market.
