The flavor of the month, named “Turkey Day Fixins,” will not taste like actual turkey, but it will involve a combination of honey cornbread, Ocean Spray Cranberry, and spiced sweet potato. “We continue to push the boundaries of flavor innovation at Baskin-Robbins and wanted to bring a unique scoop to the table that deliciously encapsulates all the sweet and savory flavors from your favorite Thanksgiving sides,” said Hannah Suits, Director of Brand Marketing, in a press release.
“Along with the return of our iconic Turkey Cake, these offerings are a delicious and innovative take on holiday favorites,” she added. The famous ice cream brand also announced that they will be bringing back their infamous Turkey Cake, which is a soft sponge ice cream cake.

Baskin-Robbins first introduced the Turkey Cake in the 1970s. However, the shiny, realistic Turkey Cake we have today was created in 2008. The Turkey Cake is a popular Thanksgiving dessert option, and it is available for pre-order in Baskin-Robbins stores nationwide. The cake is decorated with “sugar cane legs and covered in caramel praline glaze.”
Some people said they had already stopped by a Baskin-Robbins shop to try a flavor sample.
Baskin-Robbins was founded on December 7, 1945, by two ice cream enthusiasts and brothers-in-law, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins, in Glendale, California. They aimed to create an ice cream parlor with various flavors and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. They started with 31 flavors, one for every day of the month, and quickly became a popular destination for ice cream lovers. Baskin-Robbins has since become the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, with over 8,000 locations in over 50 countries. They are known for their innovative flavors, such as Pralines ‘n Cream and Mint Chocolate Chip, and their commitment to using high-quality ingredients.
