Barack Obama’s Old NYC College Apartment On The Market For Nearly $1.5M
Former President Barack Obama‘s old NYC college apartment in Upper Manhattan has hit the market and is selling for nearly $1.5 million.
In the 1980s, now-59-year-old Obama resided in the three bedroom, two bathroom unit at 622 West 114th Street. Then, Obama was enrolled at Columbia University and studying political science. The apartment, which is a part of the Morningside Heights neighborhood, first hit the market in September at $1.475 million; almost the same price the buyer paid in 2015 ($1.44 million).

In addition to the former commander in chief resting his head at the residence, other notable former tenants include legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, who lived there from 1906 to 1913. As for what’s inside the renovated pad which sits between Riverside Drive and Broadway, prospective tenants can expect a windowed eat-in kitchen, and a main suite, living room, and two full baths, and two additional bedrooms.
