Band-Aid Is Now Adding A New Line Of Bandages To Match Different Skin Tones
Now that it’s been a trend to acknowledge the black community, the Band-Aid brand has decided to share how they’re showing their support.

For years people have pushed for more diversity from the company, urging them to expand its product line. Earlier this week, the company announced that it will finally include bandages to match different skin tone colors to “embrace the beauty of diverse skin.”
The company said in an Instagram post that the move is intended to be a stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. Band-Aid also announced that it will be making a donation to @blklivesmatter.
“We hear you. We see you. We’re listening to you. We stand in solidarity with our Black colleagues, collaborators, and community in the fight against racism, violence, and injustice. We are committed to taking actions to create tangible change for the Black community. We are committed to launching a range of bandages in light, medium, and deep shades of Brown and Black skin tones that embrace the beauty of diverse skin.”
The company added,
“We are dedicated to inclusivity and providing the best healing solutions, better representing you. In addition, we will be making a donation to @blklivesmatter. We promise that this is just the first among many steps together in the fight against systemic racism. We can, we must and we will do better.”
The moves comes on light of the current racial injustices around the world, something that has been highlighted following nationwide protests sparked by the killing of George Floyd.
