After catching serious backlash over its holiday ad campaign featuring children, Balenciaga has now filed a $25 million lawsuit against the production company behind the controversial advertisements. They claim they were unaware of the child porn court docs used on set.

As we previously shared, the luxury French fashion brand came under fire after releasing an ad campaign where children were photographed with a teddy bear in bondage, and court papers regarding a U.S. Supreme Court decision on child porn laws.
Following immediate criticism from Tucker Carlson and Kanye West, the company ended up issuing a brief apology.

However, when Kim Kardashian eventually spoke out to condemn the brand and admit she was “re-evaluating” their relationship, Balenciaga posted a lengthy letter apologizing again and condemning child abuse.
Now, it is being reported that on Friday (November 25), the company filed a $25 million lawsuit against the ad’s producer North Six, Inc. and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins and his company. Balenciaga is seeking “extensive damages caused in connection with the advertising campaign” both parties were hired to produce.
They claim the court docs on child porn were never approved.
