Babysitter Splits Edible With Kids Mom Then Stabs Her To Death
A mom hired a babysitter to watch her kids and during an off day the man shared a weed cookie with the child’s mom, then took a knife and stabbed her to death. Later the man explained to cops that he had a bad reaction to the edible.

Pennsylvania State Police stated, that 26-year-old Lavrius Watson is now facing a criminal homicide charge for the murder of Elizabeth Bennett Leonard. Her 10-year-old son was also present in the house while his mother was being stabbed to death.
Police stated that Leonard, 41, was found dead at her home with “severe injuries to her abdomen,” after Watson made a panicked 911 call, according to an arrest report.
Luzerne County Coroner Francis Hacken, told The Daily Beast that it can be confirmed that Leonard’s death was a homicide and died from “multiple stab wounds.”
One of the responding officers from Rice, Wright, and Fairview townships said on Saturday, they found Leonard covered in blood and pushed against the front door with big deep gashes in her stomach. Authorities also shared, there was a trail of blood coming from the kitchen to the front door and once police arrived they found Watson covered in blood murmuring the words: “Why did I do that?”

When Watson contacted a dispatcher he expressed that “somebody got killed,” and the dispatcher asked who killed the person and Watson said that he done it with a knife, but didn’t see the knife and didn’t know where the knife was located.
