Azealia Banks Urges Rappers To Stop Killing Each Other: ‘This Murder Sh*t Really Has To F***ing Stop’

Azealia Banks has taken to Instagram to share her thoughts on the current state of Hip Hop, saying “it’s not gangsta” for rappers to be killing each other. In fact, “it’s ruining f***ing everything,” she stressed on her IG Story earlier this week. The very outspoken rapper appeared to have ruffled some feathers as she started out saying, “Hip Hop audiences are so ghetto and backwards sometimes,” along with an eye-roll emoji.

“We need an intellectual glow up f*cking pronto. We cannot be this addicted to/excited about such run-of-the-mill human sh**,” Azealia added. “Knowing that most MEN and WOMEN IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY will exchange sexual favors for Job opportunities is not news. The difference is: these white actors who are sucking d*ck for lead roles aren’t shooting and killing one another!!!!”

But it didn’t end there. The Luxury lyricist continued to express her opinion, explaining how the music industry goes on to make a huge profit from the demise of those rappers who’ve been senselessly murdered, noting that there needed to be an urgent change in the rap culture unless people wanted to continue witnessing the killings of Hip Hop artists.

“This Hip Hop murder sh*t really has to f*cking stop. It’s not fun. It’s not gangsta, it’s not cool, it’s like, it’s ruining f*cking everything.”

Meanwhile, back in February, the 30-year-old launched a scathing attack on Kanye West’s former girlfriend, Julia Fox, who she accused of using the Good Life hitmaker to increase her celebrity status in Hollywood.

“What did you hustle him for? A bag and some Lucien’s?” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram message. “You absolutely did not come up because if this is how women who “always date billionaires” behave when s**t goes south, threatening tell-all books… You can kiss your days as a low-rate escort goodbye, sis.”

The New Yorker had also taken issue with Julia’s public statements about her drug use, saying that she should have never associated herself with Kanye, considering he’s been fighting to protect his four children with Kim Kardashian amid the reality star’s blossoming romance with Pete Davidson.

Though Julia has been very open about her drug use, Azealia disagreed that she should have ever been around the Grammy winner. “The fact [she] thought [Ye would] pick [her] over his children just reeks of entitlement, a lack of any real motherly instinct, and proves that [she is] in fact, a woman child. We won’t be purchasing your book.”

The lengthy rant prompted Julia to eventually respond, saying that she has been public about her drug consumption because she wanted to “destigmatize” the idea that “all addicts are junkies.”

The model concluded with a direct message to Azealia, warning her not to question her parenting ever again. “I was too nice to her cuz I felt sorry for her but now I realize why she spends all the holidays alone. Nobody wants that energy sis.”
