Blac Chyna Reportedly Denies Rob Kardashian’s Claims That She’s Bad At Parenting

It was previously reported that Rob Kardashian is looking to get joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Dream. According to TMZ, he also wants her to be taken away from Chyna because he claims she’s living wild and dangerously, even when Dream is under her supervision!

Chyna is firing back saying there’s no need for all that because his claims are untrue. Sources close to Chyna tell the news site that she denies all of these nasty accusations which include being drunk all day, abusing drugs, chasing people with knives and making violent threats, dropping Dream off with Rob in a dirty and disheveled state and teaching her sexual positions, the news site reports.

Chyna reportedly claims Rob is a liar and that she’s never done drugs in front of her children and only drinks occasionally when they’re not around. She also says her baby Dream is very clean and makes her practice good hygiene. The source also notes that Dream has more than 100 nice outfits for her at her home.

TMZ says that Rob’s sister Khloé and former employees of Chyna, made their claims against BC in legal docs this week to back Rob’s request that the court reduces his baby mama’s parenting time to just weekend days with a nanny present.

While Chyna thinks the accusations are all a bunch of BS, Rob also wants Chyna to submit to drug and alcohol testing no less than 30 minutes before each visit with Dream.

Cory Booker Drops Out Of 2020 Presidential Race

Welp, it looks like it’s a wrap for Cory Booker. The New Jersey senator made a shocking announcement this Monday morning that he is dropping out of the presidential race.

In an email shared to his supporters, Booker revealed that he made the move to drop out due to a lack of fundraising. It was previously reported that Booker’s campaign struggled with fundraising over the past several months, and almost ended his campaign last fall if he couldn’t make a fundraising goal.

“Friend, it’s with a full heart that I share this news — I’ve made the decision to suspend my campaign for president,” he wrote in the email. “It was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I’ve always said I wouldn’t continue if there was no longer a path to victory.”

“Our campaign has reached the point where we need more money to scale up and continue building a campaign that can win — money we don’t have, and money that is harder to raise because I won’t be on the next debate stage and because the urgent business of impeachment will rightly be keeping me in Washington,” he continued.

The 50-year-old Democrat was just one of three African American candidates running for president, including Sen. Kamala Harris — who has also dropped out — and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, who jumped into the race late last year.

The Netflix original was nominated for Best Documentary Feature. Mrs. Obama took to Twitter to thank all the people who were involved in the project.

Actress Cynthia Erivo is nominated for two Oscars for playing Harriet Tubman in the Harriet biopic, as well as co-writing the song from the movie, “Stand Up,” making her one step closer to becoming the youngest EGOT winner.

There are more great stars and films nominated for the awards this year. You’ll be able to see who takes home an award as the the 92nd show is set to air live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Feb. 9. It will also be a hostless ceremony for the second consecutive year.

Lori Harvey Reportedly Charged In Hit & Run Case

Lori Harvey is out here living her best life but it looks like the feds are trying to interrupt that. According to the latest updates by TMZ, the 23-year-old has officially been charged in her hit and run case.

As we previously reported, Lori allegedly smashed into another car back in October and tried to leave the scene. However, cops later nabbed her when they found her walking down the street a short distance from the accident. Witnesses told cops they saw Lori texting and driving before crashing into a Prius, leaving her G-Wagon flipped on its side. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt.

Lori has reportedly been charged with one count of resisting/delaying/obstructing a peace officer, and one count of hit and run resulting in property damage which are both misdemeanors, according to TMZ citing the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.

It was said that Lori, who is the step-daughter of Steve Harvey is expected to be arraigned later this month.

A 10-year-old Alabama boy did something that most folks probably wouldn’t do; find a load of money and actually return it to its rightful owner.

According to the New York Daily News, a mother named Parisa Dudley shared a Facebook post last week revealing that her son, Foster, discovered an envelope at a Target store in the town of Hoover. The envelope had a receipt from a credit union along with a woman’s name on it.

Dudley admitted that her son had asked her, “‘Mom, can we keep it?’ I looked at him and asked him to put himself in her shoes. What if he had lost that much money. How would he feel?” He quickly answered, “‘Mom, we have to find her and give it back.’”

Dudley and Foster managed to get in touch with the owner of the envelope, who was later identified as Verdina Ball. Thanks to the help of the store’s manager, they returned the money to her. Dudley even shared a series of photos showing her son meeting the woman.

Since Foster did the right thing, as a reward he got a $100 gift card to Target. Foster also received “a great lesson in integrity and empathy.”

This Sunday, authorities in the Philippines issued out a warning of a possible “volcanic tsunami” after a small volcano near the country’s capital erupted earlier in the day, shutting down the main international airport and causing tens of thousands to evacuate.

According to The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology’s advisory, the Taal Volcano has been continuously blasting a column of steam, ash, and pebbles up to 9 miles into the sky. The danger level around Taal went up three notches on Sunday to “Alert Level 4,” by the volcanology institute. The advisory read, “This means that hazardous explosive eruption is possible within hours to days.”

Now, level 5, the highest, which means a hazardous eruption is underway and could affect a larger area. As of today, there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. However, authorities quickly moved to evacuate more than 6,000 villagers from an island in the middle of a lake, where the volcano lies along with thousands of more from nearby coastal towns, officials said.

Fox News reported that about 300,000 people were targeted to be moved to safety in Batangas overnight and in the next few days.

Things got more fun from there as another fan told Dobrik that she actually wanted to marry the 25-year-old and later revealed that she wanted to ”sh*t” herself after he popped out from the back. One student revealed that she met the Biebs some time ago but, he wasn’t too talkative at the time. However, that all changed when he came from hiding and revealed himself. The fan was so full of joy that she starting crying while telling the Biebs that she looked up to him. Now, while there was a bunch of fun and heartwarming moments, things took an awkward but hilarious turn when one fan gave his his honest review on Bieber’s new song.

Today was a great day for Serena Williams. The tennis star ended a three-year title drought after beating Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday to win the singles final at the ASB Classic!

The 38-year-old hadn’t won a title since the Australian Open in January 2017, and since becoming a mother to her daughter Olympia. After the game, Williams shared how thrilled she was about wining the title. She said,

“It feels good. It’s been a long time,” Williams said. “I think you can see the relief on my face. I played an incredible opponent today in Jessica and, honestly, it was a great match and I couldn’t have played anyone better in the final.”

To make things even more special, Williams said she would donate her $43K winning check to the Australia wildfire relief.

“I’ve been playing Australia for over 20 years and it’s been really hard for me to watch all the news and everything that’s been happening in Australia with all the fires and over a billion animals and people who have lost their homes,” Williams said. “So I decided that I would donate all my prize money for a great cause.”

U.S. President Donald Trump even tweeted to Williams, congratulating her on her big win. He tweeted,

“Congratulations to @serenawilliams on another big win. She is a great player and an even greater person. Our members in Virginia (Tennis) will never forget you!”

Teen Discovers New Planet While Interning At NASA

17-year-old Wolf Cukier from Scarsdale, New York, was on his third day helping out at a Nasa program when he found something incredible: a new planet with two stars 1,300 light-years from Earth away in the constellation Pictor.

Cukier was assigned to study how two stars would cross paths creating an eclipse. His main focus was on the solar system TOI 1338, where he noticed something in the orbit of two stars that were blocking the light. For several weeks, his bosses tried to verify his observation, and ultimately concluded that Cukier had actually discovered a planet; 6.9 times larger than Earth and only the 13th planet of its kind ever discovered.

“I was looking through the data for everything the volunteers had flagged as an eclipsing binary, a system where two stars circle around each other and from our view eclipse each other every orbit,” Cukier said, according to a Nasa press release. He went on to say, “About three days into my internship, I saw a signal from a system called TOI 1338. At first, I thought it was a stellar eclipse, but the timing was wrong. It turned out to be a planet.”

Cukier also told CBS: “The planet blocked the light from those two stars, leading to a small dip in the amount of light that reached the telescope. That’s what I noticed at first. It was like, oh … there’s something here that was cool. But it’s also not like there’s a single moment of discovery,” Cukier said.

In a paper co-authored by Cukier along with established scientists has been submitted to a scientific journal, Nasa said.

“TOI 1338 b’s transits are irregular, between every 93 and 95 days, and vary in depth and duration thanks to the orbital motion of its stars. Tess only sees the transits crossing the larger star – the transits of the smaller star are too faint to detect. Its orbit is stable for at least the next 10m years. The orbit’s angle to us, however, changes enough that the planet transit will cease after November 2023 and resume eight years later.”

“Our confidence went up and down a couple of times, but by the end of the internship, we were confident that what we found was a planet,” Cukier told ABC News about his and his team’s excited investigations.

Cukier says he hopes this is the beginning of a career in the field.

Welp, this is not good. Rapper Trick Daddy has been arrested this Saturday morning in Miami for drinking under the influence and cocaine possession.

Now, the incident seems very concerning as the police report reveals that a Miami-Dade officer responded to a call of a driver hitting signs and running red lights in a Range Rover around the area of Southwest 128th Avenue and 42nd Street in Miami. When the officer approached the driver’s side of the vehicle, he saw that the driver “appeared to be asleep behind the wheel.”

The officer reportedly knocked on the window to wake the man, identified by his driver’s license as Maurice Samuel Young (Trick Daddy’s birth name). From there, Trick let the officer know that he had left a club in Miami Gardens and later confessed he had about five drinks hours earlier at the club. The report noted that Trick had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery, glassy eyes and that the officer smelled alcohol on his breath, Miami Herald reports.

The “Love and Hip-Hop: Miami“ star did agree to a field sobriety test, which he could not successfully complete, police said. He was eventually taken to the Hammocks District Station. While there, police discovered cocaine inside a dollar bill while Trick Daddy was putting his possessions in a plastic bag. In addition to that, police say he was wanted on a warrant for driving under the influence.

His bond was set at $5,000 on the cocaine possession charge and $1,000 on the DUI charge.

Another Earthquake Hits Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico just can’t catch a break! According to the US Geological Survey, an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.0 rattled Puerto Rico this Saturday morning around 8:54 a.m. just 8 miles south of Indios at a shallow depth of 6 miles.

The quake comes just shortly after Puerto Rico had been hit by temblors throughout the week, including a 6.4 magnitude quake Tuesday that killed at least one man, destroyed many homes and left most of the island without power. A 5.2 magnitude aftershock struck on Friday afternoon.

As of right now, there have been no immediate reports of the extent of damage or injury. As of Saturday, more than 2,000 people remained in shelters as many are fearful of returning to their homes, and others unable to because of extensive damage.

Hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans are also still without power and water. Víctor Huérfano, director of Puerto Rico’s Seismic Network, told The Associated Press that he expects more aftershocks as a result of the latest large one that occurred.

“It’s going to re-energize an unstable situation,” he said, adding that seismologists are studying which faults were activated. “It’s a complex zone.”

The 22-year-old eventually came back into frame showing the injuries she sustained from the fight. While many believed Savage, 24, had badly hurt her, this new video shows Clary actually putting up a fight!

Clary could be seen defending herself after being hit inside Kelly’s home by Savage. She was captured dragging Savage and throwing a few punches as they both went at it for quite a while before being separated. As we previously reported, Clary was taken to the hospital to be treated while Savage later surrendered to cops and was booked for battery.

Savage has since been released and has to appear in court in the next two weeks. Meanwhile, Clary has reunited with her dad and J’s living in a new home where she plans to begin her new journey.

As we previously reported, the couple made the shocking move on Wednesday. While it’s still unclear what led the pair to step down from their royal duties, they did release a statement sharing their new focus and future plans:

“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen,” they said in their Instagram statement, later adding, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.”

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, during a recent banquet at Tyler Perry Studios, District Attorney Paul Howard celebrated his office’s new Conviction Integrity Unit where he announced the release of Darrell Hall, 52, who was sent to prison in 1991 for life for having “two grams of cocaine.” 

Howard explained that after Hall’s Dec 13. release, the former inmate was having trouble finding a job, so the DA’s office reached out to Perry for help, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. During the event, Howard called Hall on stage and told him, “Mr. Perry says you can start to work on Monday.” Apparently, Hall was stunned by the big news but simply said, “It’s a blessing,” site reports.

While it’s not exactly clear what Hall’s new job will be, Mayor and U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young, who was the event’s keynote speaker, praised the DA’s office for their thoughtful move:

If you’re a “Save By The Bell” fan then you’re in for a great treat! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zack Morris, is set to produce the reboot of the hit TV sitcom and also return to his roll for the upcoming show.

The news site reports that Gosselaar recently closed a deal to make this all happen. It was said that the reboot will exclusively air on Peacock, the upcoming streaming service from NBCUniversal. THR’s insiders say the actor will appear in at least three episodes and producers are currently in talks with former star Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, who played Kelly, to also return.

The reboot will reportedly be about Zack, now the California governor, dealing with too many low-income high schools and proposing that affected students go to the highest-performing schools in the state, such as his former school, Bayside High. It was also said that fans could expect comebacks from the original stars, Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley, who played A.C. Slater and Jessi Spano.

While the cast has not publicy confirmed this news, THR insider says “Saved by the Bell” revival got the green light to go straight to series in September. Peacock is set to launch in April, with original shows being added to the summer lineup.

The fun and excitement didn’t end there. A day after the meme posts, Witherspoon received a special gift from the two; her very own case of Ace of Spades champagne!

“I just got home from New York, and the most beautiful flowers are here and a case of Ace of Spades champagne,” said the star, 43, on her Instagram story.

The note included a small message that simply read “More water — Jay and Bey.” Before ending her video, Witherspoon made a toast with her mom while thanking the couple.

“Cheers guys, thank you so much!”

For those who don’t know, Jay purchased the high-end drink for $200 million back in 2014.

In a new viral video that has been posted to YouTube shows Lee Loechler and his girlfriend Sthuthi David at the Brookline’s historic Coolidge Corner Theatre in Boston, watching “Sleeping Beauty.” While looking at the screen, Sthuthi starts to become confused as the characters look nothing like the originals but more like her and Lee. After seeing the characters kiss each other, Prince Phillip is seen opening up an engagement box which Lee simultaneously catches.

“It’s not every day you get to propose to your high school sweetheart, so I’m gonna take my time,” CBS Boston quotes. “I love you with my whole heart, including all of its ventricles, atriums, valves,” Loechler says. “She’s a cardiologist,” he explains to those new to the couple. “Will you live happily ever after with me?” Loechler finally asks. She answers yes!

The crowd that was mostly filled with friends and close family then cheer as the couple seals the engagement with a kiss.

UPDATE: R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Joycelyn Savage Released From Jail After Fight With Azriel Clary

As we previously reported, R. Kelly’s girlfriend Joycelyn Savage turned herself in after attacking the singer’s former girlfriend Azriel Clary. Earlier today, we reported that the 24-year-old was hit with a misdemeanor battery charge, and now according to the latest updates by the Chicago Tribune, she has pleaded not guilty to that charge.

The news site reports that Savage had her hands shackled behind her back with a public defender at her side at the time of her court appearance. The assistant public defender asked that she be released on bond. She said Savage doesn’t work or lives off an inheritance.

Apparently, Judge Erika Orr agreed with the request, telling Savage she would have to cough up $2,000 if she doesn’t appear at her next court date in two weeks. It was noted that her estranged family was present at the courthouse this afternoon.

The Wednesday fight broke out after Savage felt disrespected that Clary brought her father to Kelly’s home to gather her things. Clary said she had moved out “to protect herself.” However, Savage wasn’t too pleased with that response. Following the fight, Clary then made the shocking revelation on video that Kelly and Savage did sleep with a minor that turned out to be her!

Savage had spent the night in a police lockup after being charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. However, it is not clear if the underage sex allegation will also be used against her during her next court appearance.

The nominations for the NAACP 2020 event are out and some of our favorites are up to snag an award including Lizzo, Regina King, Billy Porter, Beyoncé and so many more!

Queen Bey managed to snag a total of eight noms across all categories thanks to her Netflix documentary “Homecoming’s” live album, and her involvement in the “The Lion King.” Daughter Blue Ivy Carter also snagged a nomination for Outstanding Collaboration for appearing on the track “Brown Skin Girl” for her mother’s album “The Lion King: The Gift,” according to Variety.

On top of all that greatness, talented singer/ rapper Lizzo earned six nominations in total. Joining Lizzo in one of the categories that she’s up for; “Entertainer of the Year,” Billy Porter, Regina King, Tyler Perry, and Angela Bassett are all up to snag that award as well.
