HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The World Premiere Of ‘The Intruder’

While hitting the red carpet for the world premiere of The Intruder, Hollywood Unlocked exclusively spoke with the stars and masterminds behind this new thriller.

In this 90’s-inspired film, directed by Deon Taylor and produced by Brad Kaplan, we see Meagan Good, Michael Ealy and Dennis Quaid in roles we haven’t necessarily seen them play before, and it’s both refreshing and awing to see how well these guys performed opposite each other.

Though you think you may’ve seen this plot/playwright before, the cast and crew affirm that this is nothing of the sort; as Ealy shares the film is “much more sinister” than your usual “intruder” movie, Good adds, “[the movie] just takes twists and turns that people are not anticipating.”

So, be sure to check out the exclusive footage above, and photos and trailer below!

HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The Aquaman Premiere

While hitting the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Warner Bros Pictures ushered in the U.S. premiere of DC’s Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson and more.

Hitting the carpet for the IMAX premiere, Hollywood Unlocked spoke with the cast and crew about a torn-between-two-worlds Aquaman and the lessons learned as viewers.

Additionally, speaking with the film’s screenwriter David Leslie Johnson McGoldrick, he explains, “This is a very important theme for Jason, going in. The idea of coming from two different places, to have mixed parentage and maybe not knowing where you fit into the world. And realize that maybe this thing that people are telling you is your weakness is really your strength. Your power is actually coming from this unique upbringing that you’ve had; that nobody else has had.”

In addition, the leading actor Jason Momoa shares that the film has “a great sense of humor, there’s ton of action in it. It’s a world that we’ve never seen before. It’s a couple beautiful themes; when you walk out, like good movies, it sits with you.”

Aquaman hits theaters, Friday December 21.

Furthermore, AVC found its start by Barnes, whose mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2007, and passed 26 days after her diagnosis.

Matt Barnes on AVC.

“Such a huge loss makes it easy to focus on your own devastating pain. Eventually, I couldn’t help but think of families who are still in the fight of their lives. I didn’t want them to bear the same pain and suffering that my family endured and decided to act. I began hosting free health clinics, renting mobile screening units, and providing clinics for early detection. Five years later, I added yet another layer and provided financial support to help families pay for funerals, hospice care, surgeries, medications, and more. The economic impact that cancer survivors endure is crippling.”

Also, he says:

“AVC is the light at the end of the tunnel. We are a Foundation that not only brings smiles to families but we also support cancer survivors in pursuing their dreams. We’ve achieved a lot but there is more to do.”
