Austrian Bride-To-Be Falls 650 Feet Off Mountain After Her Man Proposes

A 32-year-old Austrian bride-to-be has miraculously survived after falling 650 feet off a mountain, moments after her man proposed to her and she said “yes.”

The unnamed woman, who took the terrifying plunge off the Falkert mountain in Carinthia, Austria, luckily survived her fall thanks to the snow below cushioning the blow. In addition to the woman falling, her partner, a 27-year-old unnamed man, was also left clinging on for dear life, dangling from a cliff edge after dropping almost 50 feet through the air himself.

It’s stated the ahead of the incident, the couple made their way to the top of the mountain in “sensible snow shoes” earlier in the day. After the husband-to-be popped the question and his lady said yes, she immediately slipped and fell from the cliff and her courageous partner leapt in to save her. Successfully grabbing her in time, he ended up loosing his footing and that’s how he ended up sliding off the edge with her. Later in the day, a passerby found the woman unconscious and took her to safety, while the fiancé was left hanging until he was rescued by a helicopter. He left the cliff with a vertebrae fracture.
