Oop! In what’s perhaps one of the worst ways to find out your significant other has been unfaithful, Aubrey O’Day has recounted the moment she knew her relationship with ex-boyfriend and “Jersey Shore” star Pauly D was over. The couple, who met on the former E! show “Famously Single” in 2016, dated on and off for around two years before taking part in WeTV’s “Marriage Boot Camp” in the hopes that professional counseling would help them work through their tumultuous relationship.

While fans assumed that the ex-couple had gone their separate ways after the series ended, in a recent interview with SiriusXM’s “The 10s Spot,” the former Danity Kane band member said they actually ended up getting back together after cameras stopped rolling. But the reconciliation didn’t last long because once Pauly D began filming “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” he wasn’t moving like a man that was committed to his other half.

“I learned that we were over after two and a half years — three almost, maybe — when Lauren called me on my birthday,” Aubrey said, recalling her conversation with Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren, who had no idea at the time that the pair were back together. “And I’m just listening to the trash. And then she said, ‘And Pauly fingered two waitresses at the club last night.’ And that’s how I learned that I’m not the ‘wife’ that he’s calling on my birthday.”

According to the “Damage” singer, Lauren had also filled her in on some of the things that were going on during the production of the MTV series, including how fellow cast member Ronnie Magro was allegedly cheating on his then-girlfriend Jen Harley after bringing another woman back to their house.

Though their relationship wasn’t always perfect, Aubrey told the radio station that once Pauly landed his deal with MTV for a “Jersey Shore” spin-off, he had gotten his fame back and had diverted back to being the person she assumes he may have always been.

One of the reasons why Aubrey and Pauly were constantly going their separate ways was because of the heavy amount of infidelity that plagued their romance. The California native accused her reality star ex of cheating on her “every weekend,” so she wasn’t all that surprised when Lauren told her he was being anything but faithful during their time apart to shoot the “Family Vacation.”
