Atlanta Couple On Japanese Cruise Ship Test Positive For Coronavirus

The deadly coronavirus continues to spread and now an Atlanta couple has been tested positive on a Japanese cruise ship.
According to WSBTV, the couple is being treated after testing positive for coronavirus while on a cruise ship in Japan. The outlet spoke with the son of Clyde and Renee Smith, who said his parents were evacuated from the Princess Cruises to a Tokyo hospital for treatment.
David Smith added that he has been communicating with his parents via phone, and they are getting better!
Reps for Princess Cruises have announced that at least 20 people have been tested positive for the coronavirus on the Diamond Princess cruise ship which had 2,666 passengers and 1,045 crewmembers on board. The vessel will remain under quarantine in Yokohama until Feb. 18, to clear all threats of the virus!
In addition, over 200 residents in Georgia are being tested after visiting China. Most of the residents have been under self-quarantine, and they will stay indoors for 14 days; the incubation period for the virus. As of now, none of them have shown symptoms.
