Ashton Kutcher has formally stepped down and resigned from the anti-child-sex-abuse organization he co-founded in 2009. This move comes after a letter in support of Danny Masterson surfaced, along with resurfaced old clips of his “sick” and “disgusting” comments about underage Hilary Duff and now-wife Mila Kunis.

As we previously reported, former ‘That ’70s Show‘ star Danny Masterson was arrested in June 2020 and charged with raping three women in separate incidents from 2001 and 2003. His first rape trial began in October 2022; however, it was declared a mistrial in November 2022, after a jury was unable to reach a final verdict on the three counts.
During Masteron’s retrial, he was convicted of two out of three counts of rape in May 2023. A unanimous decision couldn’t be made on a third count. Earlier this month, he was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison, 15 years per charge. His actress wife Bijou Phillips Masterson, 43, is set to raise their 9-year-old daughter, Fianna Francis Masteron, while he serves his time.

After Masterson’s sentencing, it was revealed to the public that his former co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis wrote character letters to the judge, asking for leniency in support of their longtime friend and former co-worker.
However, Kutcher and Kunis, who are advocates for child sex abuse and trafficking, ended up posting a video online, apologizing for their letters to the judge, and doubling down on their stance of being in support of victims of sexual assault, and more.
Following the apology video, Danny Masterson accuser Chrissie Carnell Bixler is now blasting Kutcher, for being “just as sick” as Masterson, in resurfaced clips of him talking about an underage Hilary Duff and his now-wife.
In a clip from a 2003 episode of ‘Punk’d,’ Kutcher spoke on a then-15-year-old Hilary Duff and said, “She’s one of the girls that we’re all waiting for to turn 18. Along with the Olsen twins.”
Bixler also shared another old clip from ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show,’ where Ashton Kutcher and underage Mila Kunis recalled him making a “side bet” with Danny Masterson when she was 14 years old on the show. She said, “Danny goes to him and goes, ‘Dude, I’ll give you $10 if you French kiss her.’”
Another resurfaced clip shows Kunis sitting on Kutcher’s lap as a teenager in a promo for the hit sitcom, and he was seen joking about her sitting on him.
On the heels of both writing letters to the judge in Danny Masterson’s rape case and being called out by his accuser over resurfaced “sick” clips, Ashton Kutcher has resigned from the anti-child-sex-abuse organization he co-founded in 2009, with his then-wife Demi Moore.
Days after all of the drama, Kutcher stepped down as chairman of Thorn. On Thursday (September 14), Kutcher wrote another letter, this one addressed to the board members of Thorn. He said, “Victims of sexual abuse have been historically silenced and the character statement I submitted is yet another painful instance of questioning victims who are brave enough to share their experiences.”
Kutcher continued, “After my wife and I spent several days of listening, personal reflection, learning, and conversations with survivors and the employees and leadership at Thorn, I have determined the responsible thing for me to do is resign as Chairman of the Board, effectively immediately. I cannot allow my error in judgment to distract from our efforts and the children we serve.”
It’s also reported that Kunis has stepped down from her position as an observer on the board.
