Arkansas Pastor Accused Of Performing Exorcism On Toddler & Using Meth With Churchgoers
A child abuse investigation has been launched after an Arkansas pastor, identified as 49-year-old Lloyd Eddie Lasker, Jr., was accused of performing an exorcism on a toddler, and using meth with his churchgoers.
In addition to the House of Refuge and Deliverance Ministries church pastor using meth on his own, he’s also accused of using the drug with his parishioners. Attention was brought on Lasker after a welfare check was done on September 18 at the church. On arrival, authorities found an emaciated 21-month-old child “with multiple bruises from head to toe.” The child was then transported to a local hospital ICU “with a brain bleed and extreme malnourishment.”

On September 22, Conway Police Department officers arrested Lasker after finding him at a gas station in Mayflower (30 minutes north of Little Rock) with meth on him. He was later charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. In the affidavit, Lasker admitted to using meth in the church several times with the child’s mother and other church members.Lasker is currently in police custody with bond set at $7,500.
