Arizona Mother Accused Of Abusing Children For Not Wearing Masks After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Sarah Michelle Boone, a 32-year-old Arizona mother, has been accused of abusing her children and step-kids for not wearing masks after testing positive for COVID-19.

It’s reported that Boone was arrested last Saturday after allegedly assaulted three children. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office officials say she kicked one of the children on the floor, hit another in their face, and picked up a third by their neck — all stemming from the children testing positive for the coronavirus and not wearing masks around her.

Upon police arrival to her home that night, Boone reportedly ignored officers’ commands for her to stop, leading to her fighting police as they attempted to place her under arrest. Eventually, she was cuffed after being tased. Boone has since been released on a $5,000 bond and is being charged with three counts of child abuse and three counts of assault in addition to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
