Ariana Grande found a fun way to address rumors about her appearance while decisively shutting them down. The singer and actress sat down for Vanity Fair’s lie detector test alongside her “Wicked” costar, Cynthia Erivo, where she answered a series of questions about her career and more. During the test, Erivo hit her with some rapid-fire questions to uncover the answers fans have been eagerly seeking from Grande.

When asked, “Did you ever get any work done to make yourself feel more popular?” Grande honestly denied having undergone a nose job, a “boob job,” or a facelift, though she mentioned she is “open” to the last one. Upon receiving the results, she had a big reaction.

Last year, Grande expressed her feelings on TikTok regarding the comments made about each other’s appearances, including her own, but not in a playful way. The Grammy winner aimed to “address concerns” and “talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body, and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to.”

At the time, she said, “We should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what. There are ways to compliment someone, or to ignore something that you see that you don’t like, that I think we should help each other work towards. Just to aim towards being safer and keeping each other safer.”

Grande, who flaunted a completely different look while filming “Wicked,” further stated, “There are many different ways to look healthy and beautiful.” She concluded with an important message: “You never know what someone is going through. So even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with, and you never know. So be gentle with each other and with yourselves.”

In lighthearted news, the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical starring Grande and Cynthia is set to premiere November 22nd in theaters nationwide.
