Ari Fletcher Shares A Message To “The Real” Hosts After Commenting On Moneybagg Yo’s Birthday Gift: “My Your Damn Business”
Moneybagg Yo recently celebrated his 30th birthday and was gifted 28 acres of land from his sweet girlfriend Ari Fletcher. The generous act sparked a big debate online and even had the hosts of “The Real” weigh in.
During that show, host Garcelle Beauvais said, “Last year, last season, Loni [Love] and I were talking about, ‘Don’t act married if you’re not married,.’ This is acting married! That’s a huge gift to someone that you’re not even married to. I feel like, if a man gave me twenty-eight acres, I would feel obligated to stay with them if it didn’t work.” At the time the episode aired, Ari did respond on Twitter and said “Y’all don’t know the half of what he does for me mentally or financially,” she wrote. “I’ve never felt so safe, loved, spoiled and happy with a person. He loves me and my son so much. I’m sorry that you haven’t experienced a love like this. Focus on getting your own land and your husband.” Moneybagg also reacted to their comments on “The Real” and tweeted, “Love Is Love” and that the hosts need to mind their business.
While speaking with @starringlorel from the @morninghustleshow at the BET Hip-Hop awards, Ari was asked her thoughts on their comments again, and this time she had a little message for them:
