Dozens of people were involved in an all-out brawl after they were reportedly jealous about an alleged threesome that took place while a Carnival Cruise Magic ship returned to New York City.

The fight reported started over an argument regarding a cheating partner and a threesome
One of the witnesses, a travel agent, said the fight started due to several allegations of cheating-apparently a threesome, which reportedly upset the participants’ partners. A brawl video went viral on social media where dozens of people appeared to be punching each other at the cruise’s nightclub. According to the Daily Mail, the argument started among two people, but it escalated once more people became involved.

The fight occurred during the boat’s last night after an eight-day schedule with stops in Dominica, Turks, Caicos, and the Bahamas. It happened around 2 a.m. and lasted for approximately an hour.

No arrests were made for the fight, and social media reacted to the entire situation
Authorities said bottles were broken during the fight, and a woman was cut, but there were no other serious injuries. Additionally, the melee reportedly continued from the fifth floor to the first floor and occurred when the ship was along the harbor in New Jersey. Cruise ship officials notified the Coast Guard and NYPD about the incident, leading them to escort the boat to a dock in Manhattan.

Carnival Cruises releases a statement about the fight and viral video
The cruise liner also released a statement regarding the incident and said the ship arrived on schedule in New York City.
“Last night while Carnival Magic was returning to New York, a number of guests were involved in an altercation in a nightclub. Thankfully no serious injuries were reported and our onboard security team intervened. The ship arrived as scheduled this morning and shoreside law enforcement authorities were notified and met the ship to interview suspects and witnesses and conduct an investigation.”
