Are You Here For This!? Jack Harlow To Star in ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reboot!
According to a report by @Deadline, rap star Jack Harlow has landed the lead role in the “White Men Can’t Jump” reboot after his FIRST EVER audition.
The news site reports that the “What’s Poppin” rapper will play Billy Hoyle, which was first played by Woody Harrelson. The 1992 film which also starred Wesley Snipes follows two street basketball hustlers who at first try to hustle each other, then team up for a bigger score.
The reboot is produced by Kenya Barris and his Khalabo Ink Society banner. It’s executive produced by NBA star Blake Griffin, NFLer Ryan Kalil and Noah Weinstein of Mortal Media. The 23-year-old who has zero acting experience has yet to publicly share his excitement over the big news. However, Deadline shared that Harlow “got the lead role after his first ever screen audition, immediately winning over the filmmakers and execs, particularly Barris.”
So who will take on the other lead role? While that’s not clear just yet, Migos rapper Offset hinted that he would he interested. Here’s what he commented under our post:
