Apryl Jones is reflecting on the love triangle she had with her children’s father Omarion and his B2K bandmate Lil Fizz, which also affected Fizz’s child’s mother Moniece Slaughter.
While speaking with Carlos King on his podcast, ‘Reality With The King,’ Jones first begins to recall how she initially met and fell in love with Omarion, born Omari Ishmael Grandberry. On the podcast, published on September 23, Jones, 38, says she and Omari, 40, were friends for the longest time.
Jones said they eventually became roommates and dating other people. She claims one day he came to her and said he didn’t want to run the streets anymore and was ready to take things to the next level with her. Jones says he made things official while flying her out to Paris to formally ask her to be his girlfriend. They began dating and eventually welcomed two children together. They currently share son Megaa Omari Grandberry, 11, and daughter A’mei Kazuko Grandberry, 9.

Jones later recalls how she ended up dating Fizz, born Dreux Pierre Frédéric. Jones further admits that she never really fell in love with him. She notes that that Fizz, 39, wasn’t her type. She says she just believed he was someone she felt safe with and was someone who was there for her in a time of need.
Jones also reveals how Omarion found out about her and Fizz. She initially says she couldn’t actually recall. However, she then figures it was through the reality series ‘Love & Hip Hop: Los Angeles‘ and the internet as she and Fizz went viral upon debuting their relationship.

Jone also shares whether or not her children’s father felt “betrayed” over their relationship. She then talks about Fizz’s child’s mother Moniece Slaughter. King claims Slaughter admitted to him that she definitely felt betrayed by Jones.
As a refresher, Jones and Omarion split in June 2016 and Jones began dating Fizz in 2019. Fizz and Slaughter, 38, share a son named Kamron Frédéric, 15.
