At Donald Trump’s Latrobe, Pennsylvania rally, former NFL player Antonio Brown is sharing his praises of the former President while slamming Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, whom Republicans have been calling “Tampon Tim.”
Brown — a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion who played the first nine years of his career in Pittsburgh as a star for the Steelers — appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Latrobe, which sits about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh.
At the rally, Brown also brought out other NFL players with him, like former Steelers teammate Le’Veon Bell, who showed his support for Trump with a t-shirt, and former Steelers wide receiver Michael Wallace. During his speech, Antonio Brown praised Donald Trump and told a cheering crow he “looks to make a positive difference.”
The former All-Pro wide receiver also mocked Kamala Harris and running mate Tim Walz, aka “Tampon Tim.” He said, “Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, did you really know they want to put tampons in the boys’ bathroom? That’s really insane, right?”
For those that missed the joke, the Minnesota governor gained the nickname “Tampon Tim” from Republican opponents in 2023 after he, in 2019, signed a Minnesota law mandating tampons be provided free of charge in public schools “to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12,” including male students.
Antonio Brown went on to say of Walz at the Trump rally, “And, by the way, Tampon Tim Walz, he isn’t a real football coach. He could never guard me. Business will be booming going against Tampon Tim Walz.”
Recently, Brown spoke out against Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama, who called out Black men who appeared reluctant to vote for a Black and Indian-American woman.
