Another day, another problem for Antonio Brown.
The former NFL star has reportedly been ordered to cough up $1.2 million to Anton Tumanov after failing to show up for hearings in the lawsuit, according to TMZ Sports.
In 2020, Brown was accused of assaulting Tumanov following a dispute with the moving company Tumanov worked for. As a result of his alleged actions, Brown was hit with criminal charges. The ex-athlete pleaded no contest and was sentenced to two years of probation for a felony burglary charge, another year on a battery charge… on top of six months on a criminal mischief charge. However, his probation was cut down to just one year, in June 2021.
Tumanov still went ahead with his lawsuit against Brown as he wanted to get justice for the pain he caused. Tumanov said AB damaged his moving truck and caused him “severe bodily injuries” after an altercation over the payment for Tumanov’s services. Now, due to Brown’s absence, “the jury found Brown liable for $407,000 for Tumanov’s past and future medical expenses, as well as $793,000 for past and future pain and suffering,” per TMZ’s report.
Brown has not yet released a statement on this latest update regarding his case.

More On Antonio Brown
Antonio Brown made headlines earlier this month after a viral video showed him flashing his butt cheeks and private part in a woman’s face while hanging out in a pool in Dubai.
Per the Post, “Brown was asked to leave the hotel shortly after the incident, according to a hotel staffer who requested anonymity. The hotel had also received earlier complaints from other guests about Brown’s antics, the source said.” Brown later commented on his latest controversial situation on social media saying:
“It’s crazy to me that even after I retire there is disinformation coming out about me. Ironically, during a time when the NFL is getting heat for allowing players to play when they’re clearly concussed. They’ve been using black men as guinea pigs,” Brown tweeted. “Every chance they get to sway the heat off themselves they use me. In the video, you can clearly see she runs off with my swim trunks. If roles were reversed the headlines would read ‘AB having a wild night with nude female’. Yet when it’s me it automatically becomes a hate crime.”
Why Isn’t Antonio Brown Playing Professional Football Anymore?
Unfortunately for him, his career came to an end on a tumultuous note… after he stormed away from the sidelines mid-game after an argument with coaches. In a viral video from earlier this year, Brown is seen taking off his pads and uniforms, waving away to the crowd and storming into the locker room. It was his last time he last played in an NFL game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
