Anne Heche’s reps have released a statement following her crash into a California home and according to the rep, she is not expected to survive.
In the statement published Thursday night, Anne’s rep spoke with TMZ and said, “Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive.”
The statement goes on to explain how Heche had plans to donate her organs. “It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable. We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital.”
As we previously reported, Anne Heche was in critical condition after crashing her car into a Los Angeles home on Friday, according to a new representative for the actress.
“At this time Anne is in extreme critical condition. She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention,” the rep said in a statement. “She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”
Heche was taken to a nearby hospital with severe burns following the Friday morning incident. Her blue Mini Cooper was going at what a witness claimed to be 60 miles per hour when it went through a house that then caught on fire.
Before cashing into the house, TMZ reported, Heche had run into the garage of a nearby apartment complex, but after neighbors tried to help, and get her out of her car, she sped away and drove into the house that is seen captured on the ring camera footage. The outlet also published a video of Heche nearly striking a pedestrian prior to the crash.

The owner of the house, Lynne Mishele, was present at the time, but she was unharmed because she had been in a different part of the house. Neighbors have since established a GoFundMe page for her that had raised more than $75,000 dollars as of Monday afternoon.
