Diomi Cordero said in a lengthy Twitter thread that he met the actor in a rehab center and was working the “graveyard shift” at the clinic while pursuing his dream of being a talent manager. He met Cloud while working there, and the two partnered up in April 2021. During his stay, Codero stated he hired a publicist, assisted him in obtaining health insurance, and ensured his SAG-AFTRA account was set up. According to Page Six, Codero also detailed his personal life, which he described as “in disarray.”

“Before my involvement, Angus’ personal life was in a state of disarray. I believed that taking on his burdens and obligations could potentially lead him to prioritize his sobriety. Many of the managers or agents I associated myself with expressed concern that I was exceeding my expected duties, deeming my efforts as excessive. However, I felt a sense of shared responsibility with Angus and recognized that his failure would also reflect poorly on me. Consequently, I refused to allow such an outcome to occur.”

He alleged that “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson allegedly pleaded with Cloud to fight for his life after he allegedly relapsed. Cordero said he organized a spot in another rehab facility for Cloud while filming the HBO show’s second season. “On Angus’ final day of shooting for Euphoria season 2, I advised the entire crew against giving him a customary send-off. Typically, on an actor’s last day of shooting, the director, in this case, Sam, would announce, “and that’s a wrap for..  and the crew would applaud,” he wrote.

“This was a strategic move to discourage him from using drugs and ensure he remained clean. By creating the impression that his job was not yet finished, I hoped to motivate Angus to stay focused and committed to his work, even after his official shooting had ended.”

Codero claimed after Cloud booked a film role and the night before he was supposed to fly out to Oklahoma, he received a call from the actor’s roommate who said he had trouble breathing. The talent manager said he performed CPR after giving him Narcan.

Additionally, there were accusations of abuse, and Cordero also claims the last straw was during a Versace fashion show in Europe. He also included a video of the actor who appeared to be dosing off during another fashion show.

Fans of the actor criticized Cordero for exposing Cloud as they felt it was no one’s business to know about his alleged drug addiction.
