Angela Bassett Says The ‘Black Panther’ Sequel Will ‘Top’ The 1st Film
Angela Bassett was seen on Monday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and quickly teased what fans will think after seeing the highly anticipated “Black Panther” sequel.
When Ellen DeGeneres asked Bassett if she could deliver a few small pieces about the upcoming film, the actor initially replied, “Not one single thing.”
Then a little later, Bassett took the time to shout out the writer and director, Ryan Coogler on the amazing job they did and referring to them as “the perfect leaders.” “It’s going to be amazing,” Bassett shared. “It’s going to top (the first) one.”

Wakanda Forever will show the returning cast led by Letitia Wright’s Shuri, Danai Gurira’s Okoye, Winston Duke’s M’Baku, and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda. These characters are predicted to take a much more leading role in the sequel while also paying tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.
