Angel Reese took to her X account last night and revealed that her teammate Chennedy Carter was harassed by a fan because of the hard foul on Caitlin Clark.

Angel Reese took to her X account last night and revealed that her teammate Chennedy Carter was harassed by a fan because of the hard foul on Caitlin Clark. 

“Finding out our teams hotel to pull with a camera as we get off the bus and put it in my teammates face & HARASS her is NASTY WORK. this really is outta control and needs to STOP,” said Reese, via X. Angel Reese and her teammates from the Sky reported an incident on Wednesday night as they attempted to exit their team bus and enter their hotel. They alleged that a man had verbally harassed them, used offensive language, and even filmed them, until the team security stepped in to resolve the situation.

There is currently an alleged video surfacing on the internet of the incident and it shows a man trying to approach Chennedy Carter, who had recently garnered attention for her hard foul on the Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. He attempted to ask Carter if she had reached out to Caitlin before a team security member intervened, stepping between Carter and the individual in an effort to block the camera.

As we previously shared, During the game, Clark experienced a hard foul in the third quarter. In a surprising turn of events, Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter blindsided Clark, delivering a forceful shoulder check from behind during an inbounds play. While the referees initially deemed it a common foul, the league office later reviewed the incident and upgraded the call to a Flagrant 1 on Carter. Clark also addressed the incident following the Fever’s 71-70 victory, stating, “I wasn’t anticipating that. But the key is to respond, stay composed, and let your performance speak for itself. It is what it is.”
