Ananda Lewis Opens Up On Cancer Diagnosis, Telling Her Son, & Views On Death
This week Jason Lee brings things up to an all-new level this week’s installment of Hollywood Unlocked with Jason Lee [UNCENSORED] We are joined by Ananda Lewis.
Lewis is an American television host, former model, and social activist. She has had a lucrative career in the industry and had a lot of insightful words.
Ananda isn’t afraid to open up and touch on difficult topics, specifically her cancer diagnosis as for the past two years, she has been battling stage 3 breast cancer. She dealt with her mom’s cancer and shares her views on life and death. She also opens up about some of the most difficult moments in her life, which included revealing the diagnosis to her son.
“Mentally i prepared myself when i helped my mother with her diagnosis. From the time my son was little, i had him always using his mind and understand that he could heal his body. He was 7 when i was diagnosed, and he took his hand and put it on my chest and tried to heal me. It was beautiful, he didn’t go right into fear, the most debilitating thing to have. He asked me if i was going to die, but i said yeah one die, but we’ve got time,” she says.
Lewis urges others to do regular check-ups to prevent going through a similar experience.
