Wow! T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are reportedly not returning to “GMA3” because they have been let go following meditation talks on Thursday. As we previously reported, the pair have not been on air since last month following news of their affair scandal in early December.

According to TMZ, during talks last night, ABC allegedly accused the pair of several forms of misconduct, including one particular occasion where Robach was said to have had “liquor” in her dressing room, which was a clear violation of the company’s policy. ABC also accused the 49-year-old of showing up to work drunk following a College Football National Championship game last year.

In regards to Holmes and Robach’s relationship, the network stressed they were not pleased with how the scandal came out to the public, saying the couple should have disclosed their romance with executives. Additionally, ABC feels their on-set behavior was just as “uncomfortable” but agreed to give both anchors their payouts as they leave the network for good.

In late 2022, Robach and Holmes found themselves in hot water when the Daily Mail shared exclusive photos of the pair cozying up to one another while out in New York. A follow-up report from Page Six asserted that the former colleagues had allegedly been seeing one another since March of that year, during which period they had been working closely on covering the New York City half marathon for ABC.

By June, their romance had apparently turned serious when they traveled to London to report on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. While producers were said to have been aware of their relationship at this point, their mediation talks on Thursday made it seem as if executives were never formally given a heads-up.

In recent weeks, Robach and Holmes reportedly hired their own attorneys to take on the network as rumors concerning their potential exit from the morning show began. It’s unclear what the pair plans to do next, or better yet, who will hire them now that they’ve been given the boot at ABC, but at least they still have each other to depend on.
