America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses has decided to discontinue selling Diddy’s Sean John eyeglasses following the release of the 2016 video that showed Diddy physically assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie, according to a new report by TMZ.
The eyewear store employees were reportedly instructed to take down all Sean John eyeglasses from the frame boards and replace them with frames at a more suitable price point from the understock on Tuesday. The company’s plans for the remaining inventory remain unclear. As we previously reported, CNN released a disturbing surveillance video showing Cassie Ventura, now 37, leaving a hotel room and heading towards an elevator as Diddy now 54, runs down on her in the hallway wearing only a towel. Combs then violently grabs her by the neck, causing her to fall to the ground. In a shocking display of aggression, Combs proceeds to kick Cassie while she lies still before snatching her purse and suitcase.

After the video surfaced all over social media, Diddy issued an apology for his actions. The Bad Boy mogul expressed disgust at his behavior and deemed his actions as inexcusable.
“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” Diddy said. “I was f—ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom. But I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I’m disgusted now.”
He continued: “I went out and sought professional help. Had to go into therapy, into rehab. Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
Since that shocking footage hit the internet and following his viral apology, two more women came out and accused him of drugging and rape.
