As we previously shared, Robinson flew to Karachi in October 2024 to marry 19-year-old Nidal Ahmed Memon, whom she had met online. However, upon arrival from the United States, Robinson’s plans to get married fell through after Memon’s family refused to approve the marriage, now leaving her stranded in Pakistan.

It’s reported that the American woman is in the country on a 30-day tourist visa, which has since expired and she is left with nowhere to stay. According to The Express Tribune, Robinson went to Memon’s home in the Garden area and found the family had vacated the property.

Subsequently, she staged a sit-in outside the home and took shelter in the building’s parking area. Her actions have since caught the attention of locals and worldwide masses on social media. It’s reported that Robinson has received help from a non-governmental organization (NGO), which offered her a return ticket to the United States and financial support.

Despite this, Robinson still chooses to remain in Pakistan. In several news clips and viral cellphone videos, Robinson has demanded funds from the government and other services. It’s reported that at one point, she requested 100,000 Pakistani Rupees (or about 360 U.S. dollars) from the Pakistani government, claiming she was going to travel to Dubai with her “husband” once she found him.

Meanwhile, a young man named Jeremiah Robinson, who lives in America and claims to be the woman’s son, said that she has mental health issues and that her failed love story is fabricated. He said she knew Nidal Ahmed Memon and had initially planned to return home after two weeks, but failed to do so. He also said that he and his brother tried to convince the woman to come home, even booing a flight for her, but she refused.
