Blac Chyna and Amber Rose were once inseparable, having even considered each other “sisters,” as they relocated to Los Angeles about a decade ago. If you spotted Amber out and about, you were most likely going to see Chyna close by her side; from attending parties together to supporting each other’s business ventures, these two were definitely the best of friends for quite a long time.
Interestingly enough, however, people have noticed that Amber and Chyna haven’t openly embraced each other as often as they did in the past. Of course, it should be noted that the Hollywood socialites are both mothers now juggling their hectic careers, so perhaps they just haven’t had as much time to be living it up as they used to. But are these two actually still friends?
Did Blac Chyna And Amber Rose Share A Feud?
In October 2018, it was claimed that Chyna had ditched attending Amber’s annual Sl**walk, held in LA, in favor of going to the BET Hip Hop Awards instead. Sources via Hollywood Life claimed that the Lashed founder had previously been to all of Amber’s walks, so her decision not to support her pal this time around had already raised eyebrows with fans.
Amber certainly took notice of Chyna’s no-show as she went ahead and unfollowed her on Instagram the following day, with Chyna later following suit. It was never confirmed whether their falling out was actually over the reality star missing Amber’s event, but it certainly appeared to have been the last straw.
“One of the biggest days of the year for Amber is her SlutWalk,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She finds it very important to put on and appreciates all the support she gets from her fans, sponsors, and friends so having Chyna ditch it was a major slap in the face. She was very disappointed in Chyna for not showing up.”
“Lots of people were waiting for her,” they continued. “Now the talk of the SlutWalk is about how and why Chyna didn’t show over the message that Amber wants out there from the event. Amber is very upset that Chyna made it all about her when the day should have been all about people who are struggling and want change.”
Are Blac Chyna And Amber Rose Friends Today?
In January 2020, things appeared to be better between the two after Amber took to Chyna’s comment section to gush about her friend’s body after getting a massage from a business named The Tox. “Wow look at my Girl Chyna’s body from going to @thetoxla @thetoxnyc!!! I can’t wait to get my treatment!” Amber wrote, alongside several heart-eyed emojis. Chyna responded with a series of red heart emojis, indicating that things were just fine.
They still aren’t seen as much as they used to, but what’s evidently clear is that while they may not be as close as they one were, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between them, regardless of what may have transpired in the past.
