Amber Heard says she is not to blame for the poop Johnny Depp found in his bed, insisting that it was the dog who had been experiencing bowel problems after ingesting weed. On Monday, the Aquaman star took to the stand as the $100 million defamation case returned from a week-long break, with Amber gearing up for cross-examination by Johnny’s legal team.
As previously revealed during the trial, Johnny’s housekeeper had informed him that someone had left a “human-sized” stool on his bed shortly after the actor had found himself in another heated argument with his then-wife. In court, the father-of-two said that he was sure that the poop did not derive from his dogs because they are teacup Yorkshire Terriers, making it quite impossible for them to have dropped such a large discharge. He said that the matter was “so outside, so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”
According to Amber, however, it was Boo — one of the dogs — who was at fault for the infamous incident, even though Boo was just a puppy at the time. From her recollection, per TMZ, the pint-sized dog had gotten into Johnny’s marijuana stash and began to experience stomach issues, causing him to poop on the bed.

Before the trial went on a week-long break, a spokesperson for Johnny implied that Amber’s recollection of events was not adding up to what she had previously said in her deposition, adding that she had given the “performance of her life” while testifying in the case. “While Ms. Heard’s stories have continued to grow new and convenient details, Mr. Depp’s recollections have remained exactly the same throughout the six painful years since her first allegations were made,” they said.
“His truth — the truth — is the same no matter the environment in which it has been presented. The upcoming cross examination from Mr. Depp’s team will be most telling, and will certainly highlight the many fallacies Ms. Heard has now attempted to pass off as fact throughout her convoluted testimony.”
Meanwhile, a statement from Amber’s spokesperson countered those claims, arguing, “As evidenced by the statement just released, Mr. Depp’s defamation claim is falling apart so rapidly that his counsel are turning from prosecutor to persecutor.”
“They boast that Mr. Depp’s story has not changed. If so, since he lost the Domestic Violence Restraining Order and he resoundingly lost the libel case in the UK, perhaps he should consider a new strategy rather than the recycled approach of attacking the victim, and refusing to take responsibility for his own conduct.
“Mr. Depp’s behavior in this trial has been as pitiful as it was in their marriage.”
