Amazon Driver Dumps Packages In Woods, Claims It Was Feces

If you were wondering why your next-day prime delivery was slightly delayed, we might have the answer!

In the latest news, an Amazon driver has been dumping people’s packages in the woods and claiming that it was feces.

According to NJ.com, a Logan Township officer spotted the Amazon truck on the southbound of Route 130 near Jackson Street. He witnessed the driver, Desmond Gould, 23, from New Castle, Delaware, hurling a large box from the van into the woods.

Gould allegedly told the officer that he was “throwing his feces into the woods,” but it was discovered that he was actually tossing multiple undelivered packages with an approximate value of $288.87. Apparently, he planned on hiding the items so that he could return later and take them for himself.

Not only is he fired, but he has been charged with theft and illegal dumping.

“This does not reflect the high standards we have for Delivery Service Partners,” a company rep said. “We take these matters seriously and can confirm this individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages.”
