Amanda Kloots, Widow Of Nick Cordero, Responds After Being Shamed Over COVID-19 Vaccine

Daytime TV talk show host Amanda Kloots — who is also the widow of Broadway star Nick Cordero, who passed after an intense battle with coronavirus last year — has been shamed after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

On Friday (Feb. 19), the 38-year-old personality posted a photo to her Instagram, showing her receiving the vaccine. Following her post, Kloots was called out by critics for “selfishly” making her way to get vaccinated in Los Angeles, before the elderly and essential workers. One user wrote, “Can you explain why you got the vaccine ahead of 65 yr olds and first responders here in LA that cant get them yet.” Another wrote, “inquiring minds want to know how you got your vaccine while those working in schools still cannot even book an appointment 🧐🤔.”

In an updated caption, Kloots writes, I just got my COVID 19 vaccine! I went to a site and waited in my car until all appointments were over in hopes that they had any extra vaccines. I was fully prepared to be turned away, but they said they had enough tonight for everyone waiting. I cannot tell you how emotional I was and still am right now. I had Elvis beside me and Live Your Life playing in the car. THANK YOU to the National Guard that was here today volunteering since 5:30am administering the Pfizer vaccine to willing arms. I have been terrified since Nick has passed, as a single mother, of getting this virus and now I am one step closer to safety. Thank you to my friends @ laurencpresent and @ thompoint0 for driving and being by my side.” #Socialites, thoughts?
