Alleged Drunk Man Barks At & Bites Police Dog After Police Chase In California
A recent police chase in California ended with an alleged drunk man barking at and biting a police dog. The man has been identified as Jorge Bucioperez and is now facing several charges.
The chain of events all began on Saturday night (Dec. 19) when Corning Police Department officers spotted him allegedly running a red light while moving at 10 mph through an intersection. When police went to pull him over Bucioperez sped up to 75 mph, leading to a high-speed pursuit.

Things took a turn when the suspect plowed through a gate and got out of his vehicle to continue on foot throughout a residential backyard. Subsequently, police released their K-9 named Blaze, who successfully captured Bucioperez. However, police say during this process the man allegedly bit the dog, tried to bite officers, and barked at them all. Law enforcement says the man had been drinking, and that they found methamphetamine in his van. He’s since been charged with DUI, driving with an expired license and drug possession.
