Alex Trebek Cremated, Ashes To Remain With Wife Jean At Their Home

The final resting place of our beloved ‘Jeopardy‘ host has been revealed as Alex Trebek has been cremated, with his ashes to remain with his wife Jean at their home in Los Angeles, California.

Per Trebek’s death certificate, the longtime TV host was cremated with his wife of 30 years, Jean Currivan, keeping a hold of his ashes at their home in Studio City, California.

As we reported, Trebek passed away on November 8 after battling stage four pancreatic cancer. The host was 80-years-old and publicly made the reveal of his diagnosis in March 2019. According to official paperwork, Trebek suffered from the disease for 22 months after being diagnosed in January of that year. In addition to his wife, Trebek is survived by his children, Matthew and Emily.

Days after her husband’s passing, Jean shared a short message to fans. She wrote, “My family and I sincerely thank you all for your compassionate messages and generosity. Your expressions have truly touched our hearts. Thank you so very, very much. Many Blessings to all, Jean Trebek.”
