An Alabama man was arrested for viciously assaulting his teen daughter after she revealed his affair to her mother.

Authorities said the teen fled to a neighbor’s home after her father brutally assaulted her about the affair.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported that the 14-year-old ran to a neighbor’s house earlier this week while covered in bruises. Deputies found Christopher Andrighetti cowering in a closet in his trailer home after responding to a 911 call; he had self-inflicted cuts on his arm and waist.
According to WHNT-TV, the house was also completely wrecked, and deputies claimed that a second child was hiding in a closet while the contents of the children’s bedrooms were tossed around the room. The house also included other damaged belongings, including kitchenware and laptops. The girl informed police that she believed Andrighetti was having an affair because she told her mother he had a hidden social media account.

The suspect was found in a bedroom closet, and another child was hiding when deputies responded to a call about the attack.
Andrighetti began to abuse the teen after learning about the potential affair from her. She claimed he hit her, grabbed the shower rod, and then pushed her to the ground. During the assault, he slapped her and tossed beer bottles at her. He told her to clean up the items, but she ran out of the kitchen door while getting trash bags. The victim received treatment at a nearby hospital.
Deputies charged him with first-degree domestic violence, assault, child abuse, and first-degree domestic violence.
