Kieran Lee revealed on an episode of the Pillow Talk podcast that his co-star Angela White nearly died after shooting an hourlong sex scene in 2013. Lee said White, known as the “Meryl Streep of porn,” complained about having stomach issues after she went back home to Australia and sought help from a doctor. It was later revealed to Lee that White’s appendix burst during their sex scene, and he believes his 9.5-inch penis was the culprit, as the New York Post reported.
“I put her into hospital and this was actually not on purpose…She said her stomach was hurting, and she had to go see a doctor — apparently her appendix burst in the scene, which could have killed her.”

White revealed in 2016 that she had her appendix removed in a social media post. “They had to make an incision above my pubic bone and at my hip,” White reportedly wrote. “The scarring was minimal, and the recovery was pretty fast (I did a porn expo 4 days after surgery),” she explained to her followers.
Despite the surgery, White continued to make more content with Lee as they had multiple scenes together. However, while performing during an intimate scene, Lee experienced a medical issue after White had lockjaw and accidentally bit his testicle. Currently, his genitals are insured for $1 million after adult film website Brazzers signed an exclusive contract with him in 2005. He was also inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame last year.
This is not the first time an adult film star has been injured on the job.
This was not the first time an adult film star has been injured while filming multiple sex scenes. A former male porn star said the occupation caused lasting damage to his penis. Christoper Zeischegg said he developed issues after getting used to erectile dysfunction medication. The prolonged use left him with priapism, a condition where an erection lasts for hours and requires medical attention.
“Over the course of an eight-year career, I ended up in the emergency room three times. All for priapism. After the third time, a doctor said to me that if I kept using the drugs, I could cause some serious long-term damage, like scar tissue build up in my penis, which could lead to impotence. I quit performing in porn the following day.”
