Adele is opening up about her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul like never before in her latest interview with ELLE UK. The singer, who is gracing the October 2022 issue of the magazine, has shared that she not only plans on marrying the 40-year-old but also sees herself having children with him — just months after the pair moved into their first home together.

The “Easy On Me” hitmaker, who has been dating Paul since last year, told the publication how she’s “never been in love like this,” retorting that she’s obsessed with her beau and stressed that having children with him is definitely in her forthcoming plans. “I’m as happy as I’ll ever be,” Adele expressed.

Earlier this year, it was rumored that the British-born vocalist had secretly gotten engaged after sporting an enormous ring on “that” finger, but according to Adele, she joked that she simply loves “high-end jewelry,” though getting married to Paul is not something she’s ruling out by any means. “I’m just in love! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.”

The 34-year-old also touched on canceling her entire Weekends with Adele gig back in January, having told fans at the time that the shows wouldn’t be ready in time because some of her crew members had contracted Covid, preventing production from moving ahead as planned.

Adele received a heap of backlash for pulling the plug entirely, particularly because she made the announcement on the day that her first gig was expected to take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. And while she sobbingly apologized to her fans in a lengthy video posted to her Instagram at the time, Adele is determined to create an even better show once her new Vegas residency commences in November.

“It was the worst moment in my career, by far,” the mother of one insisted. “By far. I was so excited about those shows. It was devastating. Just hours before she was set to hit the stage, Adele decided that the production value for what she had hoped to create in the lead-up to her first gig was somewhat of a letdown, admitting that she wasn’t satisfied with what she had seen.

“There was just no soul in it. The stage setup wasn’t right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give it those things in such a controlled environment,” she continued. “The first couple of months were really, really hard. I was embarrassed.”

“But it actually made my self-confidence in myself grow, because it was a very brave thing to do. And I don’t think many people would have done what I did. I’m very proud of myself for standing by my artistic needs.”
