Adele Cancels Las Vegas Residency Due To COVID Concerns Among Crew

Adele went to Twitter to announce to her fans that she will be canceling her Las Vegas residency due to COVID-19 and other factors.

The singer explained tearfully in a video that she tried everything to make sure everything was prepared for the first weekend of her residency but there were delivery delays and half of her crew had become sick with COVID. Her show was scheduled for this week as part of her “Weekends with Adele” residency and planned to do 24 shows from now until April

“All dates will be rescheduled. More info coming soon,” Adele wrote in the tweet.

As reported by TMZ, new dates for the show have not been scheduled and Adele feels very remorseful that things are not going according to schedule. “I can’t give you what I have right now and its so last minute…We’ve been trying to figure it out for hours and I’m so upset and embrassed. I’m so sorry, it’s been impossible,” she tearfully explained.

Fans also showed their support and thanked the singer for putting their health and safety first.

Other fans said they understood where she was coming from but already flew into Vegas with hopes of seeing the show.
