Actor Niles Fitch To Play Disney’s First Live-Action Black Prince!

Fitch, who starred as the younger version of Sterling K. Brown’s character in the popular NBC series, is set to star as Prince Tuma in the new Disney + sci-fi fantasy film “Secret Society of Second-Born Royals.”
The 18-year-old shared the good news on social media, highlighting the fact that this will be the first time Disney has a live-action Black prince. He tweeted: “Welcome Disney’s first Black prince @disneyplus”
As Entertainment Weekly reports, the film will be telling the story of Sam, who is a different type of Disney princess. Played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee of “Andi Mack” fame, Sam is described as “a rebellious teen living in the kingdom of Illyria.” Lee told EW: “Sam has always felt like not only is she second born, but she is also second best,” Lee told EW. “She is struggling to find where she can shine and where she belongs.”
Meanwhile, fans have been congratulating the young star under his tweet where he announced the news. One fan said: “ Will watch anything with this kid in it, so talented can’t wait to see all the cool stuff he does!” Another said, “You’re killing it man! So happy and proud of you!”
