The singer uploaded a photo of the brand new tattoo early Saturday on Instagram with the following caption: “Life is such a valuable learning lesson. If you always it to be that this is my body and this tattoo by @tattoo_mike_13  is to commemorate the passing of my sister Leslie Barbara Carter.” According to Radar Online, Leslie passed away at the age of 25 after becoming ill at their father’s New York home in January 2012.

My heart heals fast.” As previously reported, Martin filed a restraining order against Carter for alleged domestic abuse.
