Authorities have reported that Aaron Carter passed away at the age of 34 after he was found in his home in Lancaster, California.

The pop singer and actor was found on Saturday inside his bathtub, as reported by TMZ. Authorities told the outlet that they received a call around 11 am about a man who drowned in the tub, and investigators said there were no signs of foul play.
Aaron Carter is famously known as the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and started his career during the late 1990s. He released his self-titled album when he was nine and has released three other studio albums since then. The self-titled album sold a million copies, and his second album, “Aaron’s Party,” became triple platinum after its release.

Carter toured with his brother Nick and the Backstreet Boys, then transitioned into rap years later. He made appearances on “Dancing With The Stars” and even acted in the Broadway production “Seussical.” He’s had frequent battles with substance abuse, resulting in the singer going to rehab on multiple occasions. He is survived by his son, Prince.
