Aaron Brink, the dad of Anderson Aldrich, who is being accused of the mass shooting at a Colorado gay nightclub last week, is making headlines again for a string of strange videos that have since resurfaced. After Aaron’s homophobia-filled interview, where he said he was relieved his son wasn’t gay when he found out about what Anderson had been accused of, people began digging into the 48-year-old’s past.

Within days of his controversial remark, videos that Aaron had posted to YouTube, with some dating back to 10 years ago, show him getting kicked in the nuts on numerous occasions. In one of the three videos that have been posted to social media — and are still available on YouTube — Aaron drinks a food supplement before allowing his friend to kick him in his private area.

It doesn’t end there though. In another video taken from what the New York Post reports is a mini-series titled “Ouch my Balls,” the ex-MMA fighter takes multiple kicks to his balls as he reacts in clear agony but encourages the person to continue while waiting for another hit. “Aaron Brink gets kicked in the balls in a business suit,” an accompanying description of the video reads.

Aaron left social media stunned earlier this week after sharing his thoughts with San Diego TV about the accusations held against his son. The former porn star explained how he had received a phone call from Anderson’s attorneys, who explained the incident to him — but all that Aaron could focus his attention on was the fact that the shooting occurred at a gay club.

“And then I go on to find out it’s a gay bar. I said, ‘God, is he gay?’ I got scared, ‘Sh**, is he gay?’ And he’s not gay, so I said, ‘Phew…’” he said. After following up to explain his background, saying his family are Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), and that homosexuality does not exist in their life.

“You know, Mormons don’t do gay. We don’t do gay. There’s no gays in the Mormon Church. We don’t do gay.” It was later discovered that the church does in fact have negative beliefs pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community, though it’s been no secret that many members of the religion have continuously been fighting for acceptance.

Anderson, who identifies as non-binary will be addressed by they/them pronouns once his trial commences. Interestingly enough, however, his father uses male pronouns while talking about his son.
