Naomi Campbell is setting the record straight once and for all. After much speculation during New York Fashion Week, the supermodel is informing fans that she has absolutely no issues with Rihanna.

Earlier this month, Naomi and Law Roach attended the Alaïa show on September 6. In a viral clip, the two were seen sitting together stylishly until the atmosphere shifted as Rihanna gracefully entered the room. Several comments highlighted that Rihanna appeared to completely “ignore” Naomi and Law while she greeted others on her way to her seat.

Following the show, Law and Naomi engaged in the playful “demure” and “mindful” trend, where they took turns expressing that they “don’t go to the shows like the other girls.” In the video, Roach also stated, “We don’t come with our tatas out or our chichis out. Very demure.” To which Campbell replied, “Very mindful,” as they continued their back-and-forth banter. Campbell then emphasized, “It’s not about showing yourself; it’s about showing the clothes.” Some fans interpreted this as a subtle jab at the fashion and music icon, who looked stunning in her busty long dress.

However, Naomi is clarifying that this was not the case. In an interview with the New York Times, the 54-year-old stated,

“I’m not about to let the world pitch two Black women against each other. We are two women with two children, mothers.”

While Rihanna has not commented on the online speculation, Law Roach also denied any animosity between them. He shared a brief video addressing the situation, saying, “What’s so funny to me is that in this universe of the internet and social media that y’all live in, y’all always think something has to be something. But something ain’t always something. Sometimes something is just nothing. So stop trying to make nothing into something. Y’all need to get some business. OK, I love you, bye!”

Well now that’s all cleared up, it’s safe to say that there is absolutely no fashion feud after all.
