Stephen A. Smith is upset with Diddy for deleting all of his posts from his Instagram account, including the apology video that he posted not too long ago.
Diddy’s Instagram account, which has nearly 20 million followers was wiped clean on Thursday. Despite the sudden change, Sean Combs’ account remains active with no alterations to his profile picture or biography. According to reports from TMZ, a source revealed Combs simply sought to switch up his social media presence, a tactic he previously done in the past.
After fans noticed that his IG page was wiped clean, many people began to wonder why he deleted everything, including Stephen A. Smith. While discussing the topic on his podcast, the sports analyst felt like Diddy could’ve deleted all of his other posts but believes he should’ve left the Cassie apology on the page. “My only point for bringing up this subject on this particular day is because Diddy why would delete that video of the apology. To delete all of them, delete everything else but not that,” Smith shared.
TMZ sources clarified that the decision to wipe his Instagram feed was not directed towards Cassie or any specific individual. Furthermore, the outlet indicated that Combs continues to uphold the sentiments expressed in his apology video.
According to TMZ insiders, the apology video garnered widespread media attention and was disseminated on a global scale. Sources revealed that the removal of the video, as well as all other posts from Combs’ account, is not meant to diminish the impact of his statements in the video.
TMZ insiders further disclosed that the deletion of posts was not a calculated maneuver orchestrated by Combs and his team, but rather an impromptu choice made independently by the founder of Bad Boys Records.
