Ari Nagel, 48, celebrated the birth of his 165th child and said he will focus on his children while acknowledging the challenges of being an active father to such a large number. While speaking with the New York Post, Nagel explained that he will remain committed to maintaining his relationships with his children and added that fatherhood brings joy to his life.

Although he would like to continue expanding his family planning efforts, with ten women currently pregnant in Zimbabwe, Long Island, Israel, and New York City, Nagel addressed potential health risks for his offspring as his main reason for retiring—additionally, financial constraints and difficulties in his personal dating life due to his unique situation.

“I have 10 women currently pregnant in the US, Canada, Asia, Africa and Europe … Zimbabwe and Long Island are due in July, Israel and Queens are due in August,

Nagel started his sperm donor journey eight years ago, and since then, he has provided sperm samples to one or two women each week through various methods, whether it is clinical or non-sexual interactions.

“Some moms don’t want me to play a role, but I leave them the option if they change their mind, and most do once the child gets a little older and starts asking questions,”

For Father’s Day, Nagel planned a visit to the Bronx Zoo with some of his children and their mothers. He is also a professor at Kingborough Community College.
