Bianca Bonnie was one of many great stars to hit the red carpet at Hot 97’s Summer Jam on Sunday and Hollywood Unlocked got to catch up with the rapper before the big show kicked off.
Bonnie, who’s famously known for her 2006 hit, “Chicken Noodle Soup,” gave us all the deets on all things Bianca. She told us that she recently dropped a new song titled “What You Talkin’ Bout” with Kenzo B which already has 166K views on YouTube and she’ll soon be following up with another hot new freestyle for her loyal fans.
While talking about her time on the show Baddies, the former Love & Hip-Hop reality star exclusively shared that a show — focused solely on her —is currently in the works! Now, this won’t be filled with fighting, as seen on the Zeus show, but instead, fans will see more of her day-to-day as a successful artist and a loving new mom.
Of course, being an OG in the game, we had to ask the superstar to share her take on female rap beef and whether or not she feels it’s necessary or simply entertaining. Bonnie said, “I’m always here for a good rap beef. Like it is what it is.”
As many are aware, fellow LHH star Cardi B is currently in a feud with Bia. Cardi took a swipe at her on the “Wanna Be Remix” with Glorilla and Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi was responding to Bia’s claims that she’s jacking her style. Since then, Bia has returned with a diss track of her own.
While Bonnie didn’t specifically react to that beef, she did share that she’s here for any lyrical square-off: “It is entertainment so may the best girl win!”
