Stephen A. Smith has weighed in on Justin Combs’ mother, Misa Hlyton calling out homeland security for using “excessive force” on her son during the Los Angeles raid that took place at Diddy’s home.

As we previously reported, Hlyton shared some additional footage from inside the home during the raid which showed guns and beams being pointed at Christian and Justin and she slammed the federal agents for using excessive force during the raid. “Enough is Enough! Did Justin need several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest?? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed?? How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??” She said. “My son’s Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman is investigating the excessive use of force which was unnecessary and certainly not required by this search warrant.”

Well, according to Stephen A. Smith he doesn’t believe seeking legal action will work out well for her because Homeland Security “simply grabbed her sons, put them in handcuffs, and peacefully took them outside,” the sports analyst said. “This doesn’t meet the standard so good luck with that knock yourself out. That’s not the story, the story here is what were they looking for.”

Well to Stephen A’s point it not clear what authorities are looking for but according to a new report by TMZ, Diddy’s ex Cassie is cooperating with authorities in this investigation.

According to the report, Cassie isn’t the only person cooperating with the Feds, others who have sued Diddy are speaking to authorities as well. Sources close to the situation told the news outlet that Cassie has been working with investigators for “several” weeks, possibly before Diddy’s two homes were raided by federal agents.

As of right now it’s not clear what information might’ve given the Feds, but TMZ believes it could most likely be similar to the lawsuit that she filed against him. As we previously shared, Cassie’s lawyer even spoke out when Diddy’s homes were raided and released a statement saying they fully support the law enforcement making that move. “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct” the statement read.
