Honey Boo Boo is not happy with her mother and her financial decisions that are now affecting her. In an episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, the sisters confront June about her lack of support for Alana’s education. They expressed their disappointment and frustration with their mother, Mama June Shannon, for refusing to help with Alana’s college tuition.

During the conversation with June, Alana and Lauryn were taken aback by their mother’s refusal to contribute to Alana’s college fund. Lauryn expressed her disbelief, calling the situation “crazy,” while Alana voiced her disappointment that June was willing to spend money on expensive jewelry for her husband but not on her education.

Alana shared her feelings in a confessional, expressing her frustration at June’s negative attitude towards her college aspirations. She pointed out June’s willingness to help others financially but not extend the same support to her own daughter. “Mama said no and I was kind of expecting that, I’m not gonna lie, because just how negative she’s been about college the whole entire time,” Alana said in a confessional. “She’s had nothing really positive to say about it and it kinda just pisses me off people she can help everyone around her. She can help Justin. She can help this man and that man and she can help Jesse get into college and everything else.”

Alana went on to say that June claims she doesn’t “have the money” to help. “And she knows she’s got the money,” Alana added. “Be for real.”

Sadly, while talking more about this, Alana admitted “it would’ve been nice” for June to help out financially and said it felt like her mother didn’t “believe in” her.

Meanwhile, her sister Lauryn pointed out that that Alana has a Coogran account, which is a California Child Actor’s Bill that safeguards a portion of child actor’s earnings until they reach a certain age.

“I feel bad for Alana because Mama doesn’t want to help her with college, but if Alana can’t touch her Coogan money until she’s 21, we’ll just figure it out,” Lauryn said in a confessional. However, like a hood sister that she is, she noted that she and her husband, Josh Efird, might have to help her out if it comes down to it.

Despite the setback, Alana remains determined to pursue her education, revealing her plans to attend Regis University in Denver with the help of a scholarship.

Mama June: Family Crisis continues to explore the complexities of the Shannon family dynamics, airing on WEtv on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
